A few more pictures...

Sleepy-do

Grayson meets Mr. Drummond. Grayson who had already been sleeping for a few hours took an additional few hours asleep laying on Mr. Drummond. While he was here he also gave Grayson a bottle. Mr. Drummond, any interest in being our permanent Nanny?

Getting ready to go to see Dr. Periello. By the way, our 9 pound 11 ounce boy only lost about 7 ounces after coming home but has gained it all back and then some in only a week and a half. He is now 9 pounds 14 ounces.

Sodoku with Dad

Grand-Daddy Mike & Kay Visit

Nap time! Grayson slept on Grand-Daddy's chest for quite a long time. He was definitely comfy cozy.

The Proudest Daddy

He is an awesome dad. He's had to take care of Grayson and Mommy since I had to have surgery and couldn't get around much at first. I'm able to help out much more now and Chris has become a pro at diaper changing since I couldn't move from the bed the first day!

Here at last...

Great Granbubba (Micah's "GranBubba" was so excited about the new arrival that he bought a new digital camera and proceded to show the pictures to perfect strangers on the hospital elevator. He told them that was why he was so happy.)

Great Granny June (Micah's Granny) who I am sure will hitch a ride every time my mother comes up or my mom will be in some kind of trouble!

Grandma Jan (Chris's mom) and Mr. Mike (step father) were already going to be in town so made it for the arrival Grayson. Which after being in labor so long I don't think anyone had any chance of missing it!

Grandma Coley (Micah's mom) drove from AL and was already in SC to pick up the great grandparents by the time I went into labor. She was just coming up to check on me and didn't have a clue that she would have to head from SC at 3 AM and would make it in more than enough time for delivery even though she was still 6 hours away.

Any day now...I hope

Okay, Chris must have taken 100 pictures for me to find at least 2 to post but I wanted to make sure I had one last pregnacy photo in here of me almost popping. The first is probably the best turn out and the other is just me being a little silly. I'm at the impatient phase especially since I am only a week away from the due date and already have decided I'll probably be late so may as well be happy. I am excited about his arrival but I think I am almost as excited about sleeping comfortably again. For a glimpse of what this shirt once looked like on me and to experience a kind of before and after, check out my post from January 21, 2009.

Grayson's Art

It never hurts to ask! What do I mean? Well, I was teaching in Charlotte several months ago when a participant mentioned she had focused on art when she was in college (a far cry from insurance) so I asked her if she could draw turtles. A few months later and after a few e-mails, when I went back to teach in Charlotte in April she had these water colors for me. I bought both and then took them to Michael's to be framed and matted (thank goodness we landed a really good sale). Anyway, I think my new friend Katie did a great job and I would obviously recommend her if you need an original. =)
