L&D Shower - May 7, 2009

We got a lot of more really great gifts. Did I mention we are running out of "adult space" in our house?!?! I had no idea babies needed so much stuff. Like I said I got a lot of really great gifts and to my relief we'll be able to get Grayson home from the hospital thanks to Ross, Vicky and Tammy who provided a car seat.

Let me explain...I am by no means in denial of my weight gain but the above chipmunk cheek look is due to the He Said/She Said game. Chris answered questions that my friend Tammy had sent and every time my answer did not match his...well, in went a piece of bright blue gum. I was about 50%.

Chris's Team Shower - April 30, 2009

The beginning of the showers. Chris's team put together a shower and had a lot of yummy food. We got a lot of really great things. It is at this point I begin to realize that such a little person sure does take up a whole lot of space with his stuff.

31 Weeks

I've discovered that the ideal picture is getting more and more elusive. As you can see from the top picture I am having trouble seeing my feet! =) I have the best husband EVER because most of the time he will tie or buckle my shoes for me which saves me time and discomfort. My pace has slowed to a crawl and I am doing my best to hold out on "the waddle". Only about 9 weeks until the due date. We are at the point of seeing the doctor every 2 weeks and as of last Friday everything sounded great. Grayson moves a lot now but I think he is starting to run out of room. Most of the time he doesn't cause me discomfort or keep me awake at night. I'm sure I won't be sleeping when he gets here so I am glad to get the sleep now. My traveling for work days are nearing an end. My last trip will be April 21-23 and I am dreading May when I have to spend the whole month in the office working. Hopefully my excitement of meeting our baby will keep the days moving quickly. I know everyone has seen enough of me and are wondering where in the heck is Chris. I'm going to try to find someone to take pictures of both of us soon. I should have gotten some of him digging in the garden as I supervised since I can't get down in the dirt myself.

26 weeks 3 days

Well, I am definitely showing and loving it. I picked this picture to post because I think Lucy really wanted to be in the picture and on the blog. Grayson is going to love her.
